As part of the Credit Risk Management team, the Sr Analyst, Business Systems will reside on the Implementation team, implement Credit and Collection strategy and policy changes. The Sr Analyst, Business Systems has the primary responsibility to manage business and technical requirements, design on a technical level, configure, implement and test strategies in the credit decision engine. Support will be provided to other areas of Credit Risk, including, but not limited to outside departments such as Fraud, Activations, Manual Review, Sales and EPO. This position requires someone who can build strong working relationships. The Sr Analyst, Business Systems will also have ongoing interaction with external Suppliers.

  • Develops, reviews, and updates internal, external, post-implementation documentation, including process flows, procedures, system flows, and change log ensuring through and accurate information
  • Ensure appropriate requirements and solutions are developed based on a solid understanding of the impacted systems and standards
  • Reviews and analyzes business and operations workflow, decision process, and business objectives
  • Develop, implement and monitor appropriate controls to ensure defect free implementation of risk strategies including documentation, review and testing procedure
  • Ensures that credit decision systems (account acquisition, portfolio management and collection) are operating efficiently
  • Troubleshoots systems and integration issues working closely with the appropriate resources to resolve them
  • Ability to support on-call, work nights and weekends for deployments on a rotating basis
  • Configure, test, audit, implement and monitor, new and existing policy changes, data sources and strategies

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Candidate must be highly motivated and comfortable working in cross-functional teams interacting with all levels of management
  • Advanced knowledge of business analysis activities such as data analysis, process mapping, requirements elicitation, user story creation and testing
  • Creativity and the ability to reach insightful conclusions is a must
  • Proven ability to communicate complex concepts and analyses in a clear and concise manner to all levels of an organization
  • Wireless/Telecom and/or Banking experiences a plus
  • Ability to write and document business and functional requirements, test cases and test execution
  • Ability to influence and lead positive change to business processes by creating and recommending actionable solutions that are aligned with business objectives
  • Comfortable managing multiple, competing priorities and able to deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate, plan, facilitate, and participate in working sessions with internal and external stakeholders, leadership, IT, vendors and cross functional teams

Technical Qualifications:

  • Expertise in testing validation methods using SOAP & Groovy, with use-case development and defect tracking; JIRA, Agile Craft, QTest, Rally & ALM/Quality Center preferred
  • Experience managing formal requirements matrix and documenting comprehensive technical specifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on technical experience in programming, development, configuration &/ support role with FICO Decision Module, FICO Application Studio, Java technologies and Oracle DB environments, to include XML, Java, SAS, SQL, Web services, and data communications skills
  • Experience with Tableau or PowerBi
  • Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent work experience, 1-2 years
  • Experienced in automation tools, such as, Selenium
  • Experienced with code reuse and source code version control techniques, Jenkins is preferred

  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.   • Colorado Pay Range: $93,400 - $126,400
