Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Developer to join our team! As a SQL Server Database Developer, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
• Design SQL Server databases
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Provide suggestions for solutions
• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Creates or approves documentation detailing technical design
• Analyze, solve, optimize, and correct performance issues
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Monitor system's health and performance

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization
• 3-5 years of experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
• Team player
• 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Server Developer or similar role
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming

Preferred Skills:

• NoSQL database experience
• Experience in C#
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, like GitHub
• MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
• Experience in AWS
• 1+ years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• 1+ years of experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
