About the Job

As an intern at UpNext Agency, you will have a hands-on role in assisting the team in navigating the complex world of college basketball recruitment. This is an incredible opportunity to learn about the sports industry from experienced coaches and players who have played at the highest levels of basketball.

Job Summary

The Intern will report directly to the team leaders, providing support in various areas, including lead generation and client outreach. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Sports Management or Business Management, seeking a practical, real-world experience to complement their academic learning.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead generation using Instagram and Twitter, targeting potential clients and coaches.
2. Drafting and sending direct messages, emails, and making calls to prospective clients and coaches.
3. Assisting in the development and execution of social media strategies and campaigns.
4. Engaging with the sports community on various social media platforms to foster relationships and partnerships.

Qualifications

1. Currently enrolled in a University degree program, preferably in Sports Management or Business Management.
2. Strong interest in and knowledge of basketball.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. High level of organization and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Proficient in the use of social media platforms, especially Instagram and Twitter.
