Job Description

This is a part-time role working on our Pickswise brand, with weekend availability being mandatory.



Spotlight Sports Group is a collection of industry leading companies that specialize in media services and content syndication, with a focus on all major betting sports. The company publishes a daily national newspaper in the UK, runs multiple websites and mobile products globally, alongside operating a large content syndication division. Our US business delivers best in class sports content via Pickswise (the largest US sports betting affiliate launched since online sports betting was legalized) and through partnerships with world leading media organisations.



Job purpose:

Provide marketing coverage assisting in planning, executing, and analyzing CRM and social media marketing campaigns for the Pickswise brand. Follow the marketing strategy and ensure consistent communication of the value proposition. Build our audience and the proportion of our audience monetized by supporting the development of data-led customer journeys. Identify growth opportunities across all channels.

Requirements

Accountabilities:

  • Work with the team to implement marketing plans that include CRM, social media, and other marketing-related duties
  • Assist in creating daily emails, setting up push messaging and interstitials, drafting and executing social media content
  • Communicate with other departments to plan and execute campaigns
  • Coordinate creative assets to traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels
  • Create, maintain and strengthen the organization's overall brand through all media avenues
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts
  • Help manage affiliates and other promotional partners
  • Drive traffic to website and app through relevant and interesting messaging
  • Assist in social media coverage, creation and ideation on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Discord
  • Work across multiple digital media platforms- creating, graphic, video
  • Ensure all content is on brand, has correct voice and demonstrates professionalism
  • Research best industry practices and trends to ensure social standards are up to date
  • Responsible for high end TikToks! Creation and ideation mixed with virality



    • Essential skills and experience:

  • Loves sports and has a keen organic interest in sports betting
  • Proactive problem solver with ability to take full ownership of projects and campaign initiatives
  • Flawless attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work weekends shifts as needed
  • Natural, strong copywriting skills
  • Solid organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Twitter, Instagram, TikTok
  • Proven fluency for social platforms, especially TikTok
  • Must be knowledgeable in sports but also sports betting
  • Must be available to work on weekends


    • Desirable skills

  • Experience in email marketing, content management, advertising concepts, and digital marketing solutions (ie: Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc)
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and experience in content posting on all social media platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Braze, Google Analytics, Figma, and WordPress is a plus
