Job Description
F&B - WHEELHOUSE SPORTS BAR-PITHourly Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining the reservation book, taking reservations over the phone, and obtaining reservations from the telephone voice mail. Ensures excellent guest service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Requires regular, predictable attendance.
  • Helps servers and bussers when not seating guests
  • Checks for cleanliness.
  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols.
  • Promotes the Casino through good will and positive attitude.
  • Upholds standards by setting examples with appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to be a TEAM player
  • Requires bending and reaching from floor level to 3 ft.
  • Communicates with the host department to ensure complimentary items are obtained and the guest's needs are met.
  • Requires transporting cash banks weighing up to 23 lbs.
  • Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
  • Ensures all closing duties are completed.
  • Is responsible for maintaining the reservation book, taking reservations over the phone, and obtaining reservations from the telephone voice mail.
  • Knows the menu items and prices.
  • Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity, including writing.
  • Requires the use of cash registers, calculators and credit card machines.
  • All other duties as assigned Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Ability to perform basic math.
  • Keeps rotation sheet filled out, tracking server's guests.
  • Offers assistance to all guests.
  • The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Completes floor chart and assigns stations and side work.
  • Performs other duties specified or assigned.
  • Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Works to ensure a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
  • Ability to understand the concept of cash handling, making change and counting it back to customers.
  • Participates in departmental meetings as required.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
  • Assures that all guests are seated at clean, properly set up tables.
  • Ensures thorough communication between shifts.
  • Requires mobility.
  • Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner, and immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report if a personal accident does occur.
  • Handles any guest's complaints or problems in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
  • Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • Requires transporting, pushing, pulling and maneuvering change carts weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ensures excellent guest service.
  • Requires communicating by telephone.
  • Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
  • Understands that schedules are subject to change.
  • Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and departmental procedures.
  • Requires normal vision range.
