Why you should apply to be a Splicing Technician: Permanent, Full-time Position Pay Range: $24.00+ per hour, based on experience 1st Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Access to Company Benefits: Paid Time Off Medical Insurance 401K What a typical day as a Splicing Technician might look like: Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems and ensure that they work properly Examine and replace faulty and old fiber optic cables and also organize scheduled maintenance routines Take care of fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas Develop sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections to make sure that faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements This job might be an outstanding fit if you: HSD, or equivalent education, is required Six months of related experience and/or combination of experience with technical certification/degree 2+ years' experience as fiber technician, fiber splicer, or similar role Ability to work both individually and in a team environment Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds several times each day What happens next?
