Primary Responsibilities:
- Use experience and knowledge to influence processes, standards, and plans to continuously improve quality.
- Review quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
- May manage Quality Assurance processes and / or projects.
- Work as an individual contributor to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on area of responsibility.
- Develop and implement program quality plans and procedures.
- Conduct collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources for the development of quality strategy and programs.
- Ensure that the quality of suppliers, products and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and are continuously improving.
- Provide production process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvements.
- Implement projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
- Analyze and make recommendations for Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience with project management.
- At least 2 years of experience with lean manufacturing tools.
- At least 2 years of experience with general manufacturing processes.
- A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering position. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering position.
