Solutions Engineering Summer Intern

nZero Solutions Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting customer education, solution design, and industry research through competitor analysis and sustainability education tools creation. They will work closely with the head of nZero Solutions Engineering to understand and meet nZero prospects’ learning needs in the areas of sustainability, carbon accounting, and carbon management. Solutions Engineering Intern will also be responsible for doing research on nZero competitors. They will help define nZero solutions for specific industry verticals. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Solutions Engineering, this position will play a critical role in helping nZero enablement and sales team turn prospects into customers.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the solutions engineering team to understand customer needs and develop enablement materials that meet their requirements (product demos, Google Slides presentations, etc.)
• Take ownership of building industry-specific RIO calculators
• Sustainability education i.e. Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions
• Inflation Reduction Act explainers and industry-specific considerations

Recommended Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Strong working experience with Slack and Google Suite products
• Some knowledge of sustainability and carbon accounting concepts; strong desire to learn sustainability and carbon reduction strategies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about nZero’s mission and core values
• Strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion.
• Able to convey sophisticated information in an efficient, easy-to-understand mannerSelf-starter with grit and entrepreneurial mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities
• Experience in technology, engineering, SaaS product management, sales, and business administration
• Takes pride in working hard to deliver excellent results
• Technical skill and/or ability to acquire in‐depth knowledge and use of nZero products
