Solutions Architect/ Security Consultant - US

Henderson Scott is partnered with a very unique Pre-IPO cyber vendor. They've received $190m in funding and have already acquired the 'cybersecurity unicorn' status! This is a hot area of security with very little competition in the space. Their product is born into one of the newest and quickest growing areas of cybersecurity, this is a vertical they are the complete market-leaders in, and the space is absolutely booming!

Due to growth, they are now hiring for a Solutions Architect/ Security Consultant for the US. The ideal candidate will come from a penetration testing background, with hands on experience of consulting with external customers. This is not a sales position, and you can be based anywhere in the US. They are tipped to be one of the best cyber start-ups we have ever seen. Being early into the business - you will receive a substantial amount of stock here - when this company does IPO within the next couple of years, there is a strong chance this could be worth a life-changing amount of cash!

Responsibilities:

• Interface between different internal departments (Support, R&D, Sales, Pre-Sales, and more) to improve your skills, knowledge and problem-solving capabilities
• Lead technical deep-dive sessions with cybersecurity experts, guide them through better Penetration Testing procedures and remediation/defense decisions
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of security trends, threats, and attack techniques in order to be able to improve and to give better remediation guidance to the customers
• Flexibility to accept a changing work description based in a hyper-fast startup
• Demonstrate a deep understanding and professional knowledge in the platform across their customers' networks
• Be involved in the business application of the company by maintaining customer loyalty and Act as a product expert focused on customer education and identify service expansion opportunities to drive increased revenue
• Pay attention to support requests to identify recurring issues and recommend changes to the platform
• Design deployment solutions for the platform in complex environments

Requirements:

• Knowledge in troubleshooting, monitoring, and managing TCP/IP networks
• Scripting capabilities - Python, bash, PowerShell, etc.
• At least 3-5 years of penetration testing/red team operations experience or equivalent with a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts
• Ability to explain technical details and requirements to customers with different levels of expertise and responsibilities
• CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent - an advantage
• Team player, self-sufficient, autodidact, and a friendly attitude
