Job Description

Inside Sales Manager - Bay Area, CA - Solar - Sales - Battery Storage - Marketing


Title: Sales Manager

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay: $90,000-$120,000 ; OTE: up to $200,000


Responsibilities & Qualifications:


Sales

  • Foster an open-communication environment within the team to encourage collaboration and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and boost sales efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in the sales administration process and implement effective strategies.
  • Conduct research to discover methods to enhance customer engagement and drive sales growth.
  • Analyze and report on sales metrics, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise and manage the inside sales network.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Utilize customer feedback to generate innovative ideas for new features or products.
  • Coordinate department projects and ensure timely completion to meet set deadlines.


Marketing

  • Manage all internal and external marketing collateral kits and sales tools.
  • Support the business development and sales team through monthly strategy meetings, identifying areas where marketing can provide valuable support.
  • Support and manage the company's PR & Communications program, including marketing editorials, press releases, awards, and social media calendars.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for the external marketing agency partner, managing the relationship effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry growth, news, and market research related to the solar value chain and key partners.
  • Provide direction on key client relationships to explore co-marketing strategies and create opportunities for collaboration.
  • Oversee the development of company testimonials and case studies to enhance marketing efforts.


Requirements:

  • Team management and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, analytical, and able to problem-solve
  • Thorough understanding of sales administration process
  • Numerical aptitude and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
  • Proven work experience as an Inside Sales & Marketing Manager
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Excel
  • 3+ years of experience in the solar and battery storage industry is preferred.
