Job Description

This energy company delivers customized solar energy solutions for each of their partners. Their proven dependability and experience within the industry have helped establish a portfolio of 300+ MW of operational and under-construction projects combined with 1.4 GW of early and late-stage projects


Responsibilities

  • Be thoughtful of the constructability and reality of how it’s going to work
  • Backlog and design queue, depends on the platform – using Helioscope
  • Design engineer for Solar Energy projects
  • 5-8 tasks per day of preliminary design
  • Helioscope layout and PV Syst
  • Most projects are ground mounts, single axis trackers, 90%.
  • Pretty much per task, preliminary stage – Helioscope rooftop/ground mount
  • Know the design and construction perspective of the projects
  • Clear the backlog and design queue
  • Ranges from 2MW up to 20/30MW
  • Speed, efficiency and accuracy


Qualifications

  • Speed, efficiency and accuracy
  • Tracker configurations are between vendors
  • Be thoughtful of design - the constructability and the reality of how it’s going to work
  • Efficiency - backlog and design queue
  • Design philosophy of single-axis trackers
  • Detail oriented and knows the design and construction perspective of the projects
  • 2 years exp. in Solar industry
