Job Details

We are seeking a Solar Development Associate to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of solar projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure the successful execution of solar projects and contribute to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on potential solar project sites
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including landowners, engineers, and contractors
• Assist in the negotiation of power purchase agreements and other contracts
• Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and strategies
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to the team
• Assist in the development of project plans, budgets, and timelines
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit permit applications and other necessary documentation

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of solar project development processes and regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering, environmental science, or business
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• 2+ years of experience in the solar and/or energy industry
