Job Description

[c. $175-250k Comp Package, Remote Working]

You're not just any programmer—you're someone with a keen interest in DevOps and Security, able to forge strong alliances with IT and trading support teams to find and enact the best technical solutions. While previous experience in the trading or financial industry is a plus, your talent, passion and adaptability are what truly matter.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call support as needed
  • Identify solutions to various technical problems (the solutions can purchased or developed internally) - a lot of autonomy here
  • Develop software projects, these might include working on a legacy or greenfield projects
  • Deploy new infrastructure for the security team
  • Collaborate with various software, IT, and trading support teams


Key Requirements:

  • Experience with DevOps and tool/application development
  • Understanding of security concepts and practices
  • (Desired) Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk
  • Proficient in a programming language (working knowledge of Python, GoLang, Rust, C#, Java, and/or git, is preferred)
  • (Desired) Experience with automated deployment tools such as Ansible, Chef, Capistrano, or Puppet
  • Understanding of the OSI model
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and automation/scripting on the platform
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
