About The Job

We seek a Software Engineer to join an exciting startup disrupting the $25B industry on the ground floor. This role requires strong systems knowledge, working well in ambiguity, and taking initiative. You'll work with a collaborative team of experienced entrepreneurs and world-class technical expertise.

You may be fit for this role if you:

• Worked with kernel modules, preferably using nl80211/cfg80211
• You can stitch many services and processes together, even if you have never worked with them
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
• Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
• Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving various technologies and systems

Required Qualifications

• Strong systems background with a deep understanding of operating systems
• Collaborative team player
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated flexibility and a strong willingness to take initiative
• 3 years of C and Linux Kernel experience

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science with a focus on Systems
• Networking experience
• Experience developing in Python
• Experience writing Linux device drivers
