About the Role:

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern who will assist us with the design, development, and installation of software solutions. Your duties will include development, writing code, and documenting functionality. You should be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
  • Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
  • Organize software development lifecycle
  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
  • Organize, document and maintain software functionality
  • Prepare specifications and determine operational feasibility

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree with a focus in Computer Science or Software Engineering with at least 3 years of coursework completed (must be a current senior pursuing an undergraduate degree).
  • Must reside in the Minneapolis, MN area / be able to commute to office.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in designing interactive applications with test-driven development
  • Preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Close familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies
  • Significant experience in developing web applications
  • Experience with Python, Go, React, and AWS

Compensation

The compensation range for the role is $18-25 / hour. Our ranges are very broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.
