Software Engineer - (Node/Amazon Connect/Lex) (Remote)

GEICO Technology Solutions is looking for creative and motivated Software Development Engineer to reimagine our customers’ contact center experience.

The Enterprise Voice team provides architecture, engineering, operations support, and software development for a highly available, high volume contact center.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Amazon Connect and AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Lex, X-Ray, Databases (e.g. DynamoDB, RDS), S3, Cloud Watch, Step Functions, AWS SDK

-2 - 4+ years of experience in full stack software development using Node.js, JavaScript, JSON. Experience with Terraform and Typescript.

-2- 4+ years of experience with object-oriented design, well-architected design, debugging distributed systems, reporting, CI/CD, and PCI/PII secure coding practices

-2- 4+ years of experience supporting an enterprise-level organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• AWS Certifications (Associate, Professional, Specialty level)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scripting experience using Powershell
• Experience developing automated test cases in Cyara or other automated testing tools
• Experience and passion for influencing best practices and coaching/mentoring junior developers
• 2-4+ years of experience developing omni-channel (voice, chat, SMS) Contact Center solutions including natural language processing and speech-enabled grammar

Annual Salary

$66,000.00 - $236,500.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
