Software Engineer Jobs

Duties: Develop full stack Java application software to support metadata management, firm-wide data governance needs, and support the operations of the CB Data Platform applications. Build self-service capabilities for partner applications to integrate into the data governance tools. Develop applications leveraging public (AWS) and private cloud environments (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) with automated CI/CD pipelines including test automation. Maintain the architecture and design of the data governance applications including key components of Angular/React, Java/JS, Kafka, Oracle, ElasticSearch, and Graphsql. Automate existing manual tasks with systemic interfaces from and to the data governance applications. Provide advanced data analytics to provide customers with actionable insights by leveraging standard dashboard capabilities. Build next generation application management capabilities by leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence technology to identify sensitive data and protect it accordingly.

Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Java Developer, Development Lead, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: SQL development to manage data; Java full stack development; user interface design and development using Angular, React, NodeJS, JavaScript, or HTML5; Spring development; leading a development team; test automation; data management, including data modeling, ETL, and visualization; and CI/CD pipeline.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 20% domestic travel.
