About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to join Consumer Lending Technology team who will Support and build Consumer Lending Java middle-ware applications for multiple lines of business, including Credit Card. Will assist in supporting existing services as well as designing and implementing new business solutions, providing application deployment guidance and consultation, using a thorough understanding of technology, tools, and existing designs.

In This Role, You Will

• Continue to develop engineering skills by working with more experienced senior software engineers.
• Work with Product Owners, Scrum Master, and delivery teams to build new or enhanced product features.
• Participate in projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
• Provide production support for production incidents and issues.
• Participate in team application and solutions architecture discussions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and deploy high-quality Java software.
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements.
• Identify opportunity for service quality and availability within the technology domain environment.
• Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains.
• Exercise independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2+ years of software engineering experience in developing integrated and secure enterprise or web-based applications using Java/J2EE

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Agile experience
• 2+ years of software engineering experience managing applications in a cloud environment (Azure, Google, Amazon Web Services)
• 2+ years of software engineering experience working with Java frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, etc.
• 2+ years of web service or API experience (REST, SOAP)
