Overview

You have the unique opportunity to join a new software engineering team and be part of a once-in-a-career program to transform how our organization operates in one of the largest established banks in the world. We are looking for a hands-on Engineer to join our Automation as a Service team with experience leading teams and interfacing with stakeholders to solve the complex operational challenges that Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank faces today. Automation as a Service is a group specifically targeted at delivering digital products focused on delivering solutions in low-friction and easily consumable manner that benefits clients and operations for whom banking is not their core business but a service that they require. Our team is tasked with transforming the Corporate Bank on a distinctive portfolio of work introducing green-field technology and responsibilities that include transforming operational teams. Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank addresses the needs of corporate clients, financial institutions, investors, and issuers in three segments: in Corporate Treasury Services, providing corporate clients with liquidity management, foreign exchange, payment, trade finance and lending solutions, in our Institutional Client Services providing financial institutions, investors and issuers with institutional cash management, trust and agency solutions as well as securities services, and in Germany, our Business Banking segment supports small businesses and self-employed business owners with payment and credit solutions as well as other banking.

What You’ll Do

• Provide automation solutions
• Deliver digital interfaces and capabilities to both internal and external clients to ensure a low-touch low-friction low-complexity approach
• Build out components of our single-user interface portal our key-stone technology platform that is both internal and external client-facing
• Expand upon our platform to solve the technology challenges of tomorrow

Skills You’ll Need

• Experience with full-stack Java or ReatcJS
• Overall technology experience

Skills That Will Help You Excel

• You enjoy working within a “Tribe” that includes teammates from tech, business, and operations
• You know how to work in an Agile environment and related “fail-fast” principles
• You are delivery orientated
• You love to code specially in full-stack Java or ReactJS
• Great attitude and team player

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $75,000 to $110,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
