Social Worker-Msw-Pd Jobs

Responsible for providing a wide range of services for patients and their families, such as discharge planning and supportive counseling; maintain involvement with patients and families and participate in team meetings, assessments and evaluations; keeps informed of the latest professional practices and trends and performs other duties as assigned. Master's degree in Social Work required. Minimum of 2 years medical social work preferred. New York State Social Work Licensure required (LMSW). A minimum of three years' experience in a an acute healthcare setting is required.

Required Skills, Knowledge or Abilities:

• Knowledge of all rules and regulations of child abuse/neglect reporting as appropriate.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff in a verbal or written manner.
• Documented experience and knowledge of two direct practice modalities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, EPIC and Midas documentation.
• Ability to organize information
