Hospital Social Worker
The CMS Hospital Social Worker position is dedicated to serving families whose children are within our local hospital systems. The primary role of this position is to ensure continuity of educational access for affected students. This position would serve as a family-centered liaison between CMS and the hospital, coordinating and communicating with both organizations to ensure FAPE is provided to hospitalized students, and that their overall educational needs are being met.
Relevant skills for this position:

• Social work experience in a clinical/medical setting
• Social work experience in a school setting
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills involving various stakeholder groups

Position is currently grant-funded till June 2024
