Who you are:

We’re looking for a savvy social media coordinator who is marketing-minded, creative, and keen on assisting our Social Media & Photo/Video teams. If you love all things social media, creative, and beauty, this is the place for you!

Ideally, you’re excited at the idea of learning alongside Ouu i love’s Founder & Creative Director, and taking your practical skills to the next level.

This is a part-time contract position where you will be expected to work 25-35 hours/week with weekday availability and weekend availability for pop-ups/events. The majority of your time will be spent in-studio or on-location. This is not a remote position.

You must have reliable transportation, be a resident of the United States, and have a reliable computer or laptop with the following programs installed:

• Premier Pro
• Capture One (preferred) or Lightroom
• Adobe

What you’ll be doing:

• Social Media
• Taking videos & photos of interesting things happening around the studio to be used on our socials & stories (photoshoots, birthdays, important meetings, new additions, etc.)
• Assisting with on-location production and video shoots
• Assisting with setup, breakdown, pre-event planning, and post-event wrap-up
• Researching social media reporting/analytics trends
• Quarterly audit of product closet and prop bins
• Supporting social media initiatives for Ouu i love and client social media accounts by proposing content ideas, executing content, and scheduling posts on
• Sourcing props for photoshoots and going on prop runs
• Staying up to date on the latest social media video trends on Instagram and TikTok preferably in the beauty, wellness, or jewelry space
• Capturing content for social media
• Researching events and conferences to attend
• Maintaining client product closet and keeping prop bins organized
• Trend research on social media trends with a focus on Instagram, Tik Tok, and Pinterest
• Participating in brand brainstorming meetings and pre-production planning
• Styling product and prop scenes for photography
• Networking on behalf of Ouu i love
• Engaging with social media accounts and responding to inquiries via comments and direct messages
• Assisting with video editing while meeting project deadlines
• Maintaining inventory log and an organized system for client products
• Arranging product returns to clients
• Participate in monthly social media pitch meetings
• Prepping and creating custom diy-props for photoshoots
• Supporting the management of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Blog, Facebook
• Assisting photographers during photoshoots with prep, lighting, and props
• Sourcing inspiration for and creating photography shot lists
• Interacting with other brands and making meaningful connections between other small businesses and owners
• Sourcing inspiration for and creating video reel storyboarding
• Assist with pop-up events, business seminars, tradeshows, or conferences by capturing content for social media
• Staying up to date on the latest videography equipment, tools, and techniques through research
• Assisting with monthly blog outlines and ideas for monthly/quarterly blogs
• Caption copywriting
• Photography Assistance
• Photo Area Maintenance
• Welcoming on-site visitors and assisting guests
• Styling product and prop scenes for social media reels
• Assisting with video creation for client projects
• Filming and editing content for social media
• Participating in strategy meetings while taking detailed notes
• Monthly hashtag strategizing and auditing
• Participating in monthly social media strategy meetings such as brainstorming and sharing social media trend forecasting
• Sourcing props for social content creation and going on prop runs
• Arranging product collection and return with clients
• Assisting videographer with prep, lighting, and props
• Staying up to date on the latest trending music for social media videos
• Videography Assistance
• Trend research in the beauty, fashion, wellness, and small business realm with a focus on social media marketing, photography, and video
• Instagram story and feed post-implementation via social media management software
• Participating in strategy meetings to gather video project details while taking detailed notes
• Setting up social media Trello project cards (using Ouu i love template)
• Event Support

Your qualifications and skills:

• Has a keen eye for styling products
• Mobile Photography or Mobile Videography Experience
• Loves trend forecasting
• Content Creation Experience with Tik Tok and IG Reels
• 1-3 Years Experience in a Social Media Role
• Dropbox and Google Drive experience
• College Graduate
• Enjoys painting, creating, DIY, and the idea of creating custom props
• On top of the latest trending music
• Pinterest lover!

Your education and experience:

• NOTE: We’re open to candidates who don’t have a college degree but have on-the-job experience in social media role with a love for capturing photography and video.
• High School or Undergraduate Degree.

Compensation: Starting at $16/hr. DOE
