Job Summary:


We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our in-office team in Seattle, WA. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing impactful social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive sales, as well as analyzing results for continued success. They will coordinate with the Marketing Manager and the Digital Marketing Manager to support 3 brands in the Luxury Piercing and Jewelry space.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct research to analyze the competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior and prepare reports by collecting, summarizing and analyzing data
  • Define and understand social media KPIs and goals
  • Create content including high quality photography, videos/reels, and infographics
  • Content Creation: Create engaging, eye-catching, and high-quality visual and written content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. This content should showcase our unique and celebrated piercing jewelry, lifestyle imagery, client testimonials, behind-the-scenes footage, and relevant industry news.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, impressions, conversion rates, and customer demographics. Prepare regular reports outlining key insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to the team while providing instructions for promotion or use
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing objectives, targeting our key audience segments. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure our social media presence remains fresh and relevant.
  • Community Management: Monitor and engage with our online community across all social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive relationships with our followers, influencers, and brand advocates to strengthen our online presence and customer loyalty.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about current fashion trends, piercing styles, and industry news to create relevant and timely social media content. Identify opportunities for collaborations, partnerships, and promotions that align with these trends and resonate with our target audience.
  • Draft and monitor daily social media posts, stories, and ads as needed


Qualifications and Skills we’re looking for:


  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills for successfully completing time-sensitive projects
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding understanding of social media platforms and comfort in repurposing content across all of those platforms
  • Knowledge of and a love for Piercing culture and high quality jewelry
  • Strong interpersonal skills for community and influencer management, as well as team collaboration
  • Experience with digital marketing software programs such as Klaviyo
  • Ability to effectively communicate each brand in its brand voice
  • Social platforms analytics tools knowledge
  • Experience with Ecommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus and Square
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing the organizations in public, during media events and product launches
  • Specific skills in creative editing and translation of content, content repurposing and strategic posting
  • Good computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data and sharing this information with other team members in project updates
  • Advanced writing and copy-editing abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice to represent 3 unique brands as well as different audiences and social media platforms
  • Product photography and photo editing skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail


Education and Experience Requirements:


  • Demonstrated understanding with social media platforms for business purposes (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional social media marketing experience required, preferably in the piercing, fashion, jewelry or lifestyle industry
  • Demonstrated creative ability to develop innovative and visually appealing content that captures the attention of the target audience. Proficiency in photo and video editing software is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other creative technologies (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva) a plus
  • Exposure to professional digital marketing technologies and softwares (Hubspot, Sprout Social, and other CMS platforms)
