Work for a cutting edge social media marketing agency. You will be responsible for writing and designing custom content for several clients across a variety of different industries. You must be an excellent writer and editor, be very comfortable in graphic design, have impeccable attention to detail, and experience working in digital marketing or writing for a brand. You will act as a ghostwriter for the accounts you manage, creating both long and short format captions, custom graphics, and short-format video specific to their business with accompanying visuals.
This is a full-time salary position with potential for promotions & future leadership positions in a small, fast-paced, start-up.
This position will be remote (work from home).
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience writing for a brand or business
- Must be able to attend an in-person meeting in Colorado one time per year.
- 2-5 years of writing or journalism experience
- 2 years of creating graphic and video content
- Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities:
- Write & edit long-format blog posts.
- Create both captions and graphics for several social media accounts across a variety of different industries.
- Maintain and support strong client relationships through timely email communication and participation in client meetings
- Track and analyze monthly analytics for social media accounts.
- Community management on all social media platforms.
- Shoot & edit short-format videos for IG Reels or TikTok using current trends
Skills:
- Organized: Must be able to manage multiple deliverables each day and perform well under tight deadlines.
- Grammar & Spelling: must have impeccable grammar skills.
- Attention to detail
- Fast learner
- Open to feedback: We are a highly collaborative team, and encourage cross-functional relationships for editing and ideating content.
- Communication: Must be able to manage email communication with our clients and participate in client input meetings.
- Copywriting: must be an excellent writer who is able to cover a variety of different businesses, brand guidelines, tones, styles, and topics.
- Preferred Skills (not required): experience with content management systems, photo-editing, photography, Photoshop, video editing (Splice, Capcut, Canva), animation.
- Creative thinking: Always generating new creative ideas and has the ability to mold them into high-value content.
- Self-motivated
- Social Media Marketing: must be up to date with all the newest social media platforms, features, and content themes.
- Design: comfort creating new designs as well as modifying existing templates within a brand’s look and feel.
