Slide Operations- Part-Time, Walt Disney World

Think there is not much to do at the Walt Disney World® Resort besides our Theme Parks and entertainment districts? Think again! Cast Members working in Slide Operations at our Water Parks ensure the safety of our Guests enjoying various rides and attractions. Slide Operations Cast Members dispatch Guests at the Water Park attractions and may also evacuate slides in case of shutdown or emergency. Cast Members in this role may be deployed to other locations during Water Parks yearly refurbishment.

Slide Operations Cast Members receive a starting rate of $15.00/ hour.

Responsibilities :

As Slide Operations Cast Members, we are responsible for greeting Guests and verifying boarding requirements, ensure accurate water slide dispatch rates to improve efficiency and maintain Guest safety, general cleaning, delivering safety instructions, and providing direction for Guests on water slides and pool areas. We enforce rules and safety policies as well as respond to unexpected Guest situations including evacuating slides in the event of shutdowns or emergencies.

Basic Qualifications :

• Receptive to extensive standing and stair climbing
• Willing to work at various heights
• Receptive to working outdoors in all weather conditions, including full sun
• Can expertly work independently and as a team with minimal direction from Leadership
• Receptive to work around water
• Ability to multi-task under high pressure while being safety focused
• You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual preferred
• Previous experience working around water
• Previous CPR certification
• Previous swimming experience

Additional Information :

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
