• Remove rubbish and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure building safety rules are implemented and maintained REQUIREMENTS:
• Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed
• Able to work under minimum supervision while cooperating with departmental heads and other staff members
• Generous Paid Time Off JOB DESCRIPTION: The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the routine upkeep of all facility areas inside and outside the building. These responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting HVAC systems, lighting, indoor climate control, emergency cleaning, and upkeep requests. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and parking lot
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to read and understand work assignments, as well as report verbally and provide written documentation as necessary
• Troubleshoot issues with an HVAC system, lighting, and indoor climate control as necessary
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
