Site Reliability Engineer (Sre) - Evening Shift

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular performance testing, capacity planning, and optimization activities.
• Automate manual tasks and build tools for system monitoring, deployment, and configuration management.
• Monitor the availability, performance, and reliability of our systems and applications during the evening shift.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring prompt resolution to minimize downtime.
• Identify areas for improvement in system performance, reliability, and security and propose solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a cloud-based application environment
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work in a client-facing role
• Any familiarity with the following technologies in our stack: Linux, git, ruby, bash, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, MySQL, Solr, Apache, Tomcat, Java, Graylog, Kibana, Zabbix, and Datadog
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Cloud Operations

• The starting salary range for this role is $100,000-$115,000 with 10% annual bonus potential.
