Job Description

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - High Frequency Trading


Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Industry: Quantitative High Frequency Trading

Salary: Up to $700,000 total compensation

Location: Manhattan, New York

Tech stack: Python, Golang, Linux, SQL, CI/CD


This is an opportunity to join a small and extremely competent SRE team based out of one of the leading trading companies in the world, they are boasting record profits and are looking to expand in all teams. You will join as an engineer in a front-office trading environment to directly have an impact on the efficiency and availability of trades.


Technical experience

  • Experience with SQL database operations
  • Experience with Kafka, CICD pipelines and virtualisation a bonus
  • Experience within Linux platforms
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar software engineering or site reliability engineering position
  • Proficiency with either Python or Golang
