We have an immediate opening for an experienced Site Manager at for our Helium production facility in Cahone, CO.
This facility employs 13 personnel made up of a Leadership and administration, operators, and maintenance personnel. This plant is a 24/7 operation.
The candidate is responsible and accountable for maintaining the safety and environmental standards, the safety and wellbeing of the employees, and overall operation. The candidate is responsible and accountable for reliability, improving efficiency and productivity results, labor costs and specific site cost centers. Additionally, the manager is responsible for the maintenance, project work, reliability, HR issues, leadership, workforce resources, cost control and asset management through relationships and alignment with horizontally integrated functional support organizations. The position reports to the Assistant Line Manager.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership to effectively identify and promulgate global plant best practices and work processes.
  • Administer EH&S standards to ensure the protection of personnel, the community, and the environment.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve personnel problems to ensure an effective, involved, and motivated work force.
  • Maintain outstanding customer relations through superior reliability and highly effective communications with customers.
  • Lead asset management efforts to drive continuous improvement in business profitability.
  • Maintain superior community relations.
  • Direct and monitor facility operations to efficiently meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure excellence in performance and continuity of management through the effective selection, development, and motivation of a team of employees organized to optimize individual and group capabilities.

Qualifications / requirements:

Candidates for this position will be evaluated on the following:
  • Experience in plant operations, and distribution.
  • Effective communications skills
  • Committed to our Continuous Improvement initiative.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated managerial leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • A successful track record in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality
  • A demonstrated commitment to asset management programs
  • Ability to collaborate with customer representatives and community leaders.
  • 5+ years of industrial experience including supervision.
  • A strong commitment to employee involvement, team building and diversity.

The expected pay range is $110,850 - $150,100 plus bonus. This is the pay range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
