Lead a move into a brand new, state-of-the-art office facility.
You’re going to be starting on an hourly rate contract, with the potential to move into permanent position. A try before you buy kind of arrangement on both sides. With a brand-new facility ready, your initial focus will be on helping this Private Equity firm move in.
High standards are set across the business and this team is no different. You’ll be focused on providing a positive experience for all guests and employees who will work at the facility daily. You’ll take the lead on all operational aspects of this new office, from pantry stocking to office maintenance, shipping, security and more.
There’ll be lots going on here every day. Events will be a regular occurrence, so you’ll work closely with the Community Leader within the office to build a strong, welcoming culture across the facility. When these internal events take place, you’ll organise with the kitchen team to make sure catering requests are taken care of, whilst at the same time liaising with the IT team to ensure the right technology is setup. It’s a varied, all encompassing role where you’ll be able to take responsibility and ownership over projects.
Most importantly, you have strong attention to detail and a duty of care to your colleagues. Whilst it’s a “state-of-the-art” facility, you’ll be the one who makes it fulfil it’s potential.
In terms of experience, you’re going to need to come from a background in operations or office management in an office with more than 50 people. You’ll have experience of dealing with various types of people and have no problem working with stressful situations and heavy workloads at times. As you’ll be managing multiple projects from time to time, the ability to delegate effectively will be essential.
Hourly rate will be up to $40 per hour and as mentioned there will be a potential for this role to be permanent in the long run. This is the main west-coast office for a global VC/Private Equity business with extremely high standards and great people and you’ll be able to help make their daily work lives better. You’ll have access to the free food and drinks provided by the kitchen team and much more.
