Job Summary
Our company is seeking a talented and experienced 3D Real-Time Simulation Technical Lead to join our team. As the technical lead, you will be responsible for leading, with a hands-on approach, the development of cutting-edge 3D simulation software used in a variety of industries such as industrial automation, construction, agriculture, aerospace, training, and robotics. You will lead a team of developers and collaborate with other departments such as design and QA to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead the development and maintenance of 3D real-time simulation software products, including robotics simulations using tools such as NVIDIA Isaac, Omniverse, and Unity Sim.
- Define and enforce software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality code.
- Present to and work with wide range of clients to define Robotics, Digital Twin, Sim projects.
- Provide technical leadership to a remote global team.
- Take ownership of technical products from concept/prototype to delivery with a hands-on approach and be accountable.
- Contribute and review code in active projects.
- Work with internal stakeholders and clients on scope and schedule.
- Work with internal stakeholders to recruit developers/engineers for special projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, QA, and product management to ensure timely and successful delivery of software products.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and reports related to the software development process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in 3D real-time simulation development, including robotics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications/Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on 3D real-time simulation and robotics using tools such as NVIDIA Isaac, Omniverse, ROS, Unity Sim, and Gazebo.
- Proficient in Unity and/or Unreal Engine
- Experience in “digital twins” and various digital capture techniques and tools
- Good understanding of 3D digital art pipelines
- Strong proficiency in C++, Java/Kotlin, Python and C#
- Cross platform development experience
- 3+ years of experience working directly with clients in a consulting role
- Enjoy working on a diversity of projects
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work Pacific Standard Time hours
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global remote team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA is a plus.
- Knowledge of computer graphics, physics simulations, and machine learning is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D modeling
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documentation. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and complaints. Ability to communicate efficiently via verbal as well as written.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts that relate to the above job responsibilities with their parameters.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
