Queen Anne Shop Manager
This role is full time and salaried starting at $75,000 (small shop manager wage).

As a Shop Manager you will:

The qualities of a Shop Manager:
  • Understanding of Microsoft software, Google and Apple products
  • Is comfortable receiving feedback and excels at collaboration
  • A desire to share what’s unique and wonderful about Molly Moon’s: our ingredients, our partnerships, our people, and our role in the community.
  • Prior experience in retail or client/customer service environment, in a management capacity with teams larger than 10.
  • Committed to the well-being of their shop team, their community, and the environment around them
  • Is calm under pressure and navigates adversity with grace
  • Has experience driving sales and managing labor (2+ years)
  • Leads by example and excels in a team environment
  • Has customer service experience (3+ years)
  • Has a willingness to take on unexpected challenges
  • Internal candidates may also qualify by completing the shift leader to shop manager career pathway.
  • Is energetic, positive, and a skillful communicator
  • Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and be comfortable doing repetitive physical tasks
  • Is creative, resourceful, organized, and an excellent problem solver and use good judgment to surpass store and team goals
Shop Managers control much of their schedule but must work 4 days in the shop, and one day of admin, meetings, and other duties. Most shifts are closing shifts and are scheduled until midnight. Shop managers will have a protected “weekend” when their shop’s Assistant Shop Manager handles coverage and other day-to-day issues. Ultimately a shop manager is still responsible for responding to emergencies and other impactful unforeseen circumstances as they arise (even during their “weekend” days).
