Shipping Supervisor - 3Rd Shift

We have an excellent opportunity for a Shipping Supervisor - 3rd shift - in our Troy, Ohio location.

In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:

• Verify all outgoing product. Ensure inventory is being rotated.
• Safety of personnel, quality and security of product.
• Select, train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed. Monitor employee performance.
• Manage inventory by properly handling, staging and shipping finished goods.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures and document appropriately.
• Lead, delegate, and motivate employees.
• Keep the shipping docks, warehouse areas, staging area (s), and all storage areas in a clear, orderly, and safe manner. Instruct coordinators, loaders, material handlers and equipment operators on the safe handling of materials.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and formulate recommendations to improve product flow and appropriate equipment. Implement identified safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
• Accomplish staging, shipping and organization mission by completing related reports as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 5 or more years’ experience in leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership, finished goods inventory control skills, organization, dependability and communication required.
• Reporting and analysis skills required.
• Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent education/work experience.
