Job Description
KCD Software has an immediate job opening for a dependable and ambitious employee looking to join our growing Team. Located in Cataumet, MA, this position is a part-time opportunity for 4-5 hours per day, Mon-Friday (25 hours per week). As a Shipping Department Coordinator, you will work closely with our Sales Department and our customers. Our current Shipping Coordinator is being promoted within the company and will be on hand to help train for this position.

Job Summary:


The Shipping Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the shipping and receiving of company products and the tracking and updating of customer orders and product key information

Key Details:


  • Compensation starting at $16/hr based on experience - plus generous quarterly bonuses based on company profit
  • Office located in Bourne, MA
  • This position works in our office daily (Potential for internal advancement)
  • Flexible part time schedule between the hours of 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday


General Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Processing incoming shipments and returns from customers – verifying product IDs against database information
  • Carefully and accurately maintaining shipping records with customer and product information.
  • Processing orders online for customers and updating customer database
  • Processing outgoing shipments – verifying product information and packaging appropriately
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Investigating and verifying customer account questions and product levels
  • Communicating any discrepancies to management
  • Maintaining customer and product information in database
  • Assisting Sales and Tech Support Department employees with shipping questions and tracking information
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding product shipments

Education and Experience:


  • Associate’s Degree or 2 years of administrative experience preferred.


Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Repetitive small movements using a mouse, keyboard, and headset.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
