Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Shipping Clerk to join our team at our S.R. Smith facility in Tucson, AZ.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Provides support to customer service by shipping orders thru pick/pack and parcel systems, picks and palletizes parts and finished products for freight shipments, and performs 5S functions stated by department policy. Employee will be responsible for processing outgoing shipments and pulling printed orders to be shipped as well as moving product from stocking locations to shipping locations for processing. Employee will be responsible for loading conveyance in safe accurate manner to ensure material arrives intact to final destination. Additionally, you will:
  • Pick and pack orders by using the Oracle system
  • Verify stock of items when requested by department VSL/or customer service
  • Process parcel orders using Clippership, Fedex, Navisphere and UPS World Ship systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Properly palletize parts/finished products for freight shipments, including wrapping and weighing of the pallet
  • Maintain records of all outbound shipments both international and domestic
  • Training/Certified on all forklift and industrial powered equipment
  • Schedule carrier pickups using multiple web portals
  • Perform 5S as stated by department requirements at end of shift or when there is a stoppage of work
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures identified by Fluidra

WHAT WE SEEK
  • International shipping experience and document control a plus
  • Experience with RF scanner
  • Forklift experience (stand up, sit down or order picker) a plus
  • ERP systems (Oracle & SAP) knowledge a plus
  • Bi-lingual a plus, with emphasis on verbal and written English skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a high-volume shipping distribution center
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel & Email)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION
  • High school education or equivalent
