Job Overview

Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our shipping and distribution strategy. Primary duty will be to ensure secure, accurate, timely and productive shipping processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

• Match prior day paperwork to bill of lading and scan to accounting in specified order.
• Match prior day paperwork to hand in copy, scan, save and file for future audits.
• Produce shipping documentation and stage with shipments.
• Document prior day shipments
• Trace and track all outstanding undelivered shipments.
• Audit shipments and code per AP specifications.
• Stage and organize current-day shipments.
• File purchase order receipts for future audit
• Process sales order for shipment in oracle
• Upload previous day shipment photos to appropriate file locations.
• Receive purchase orders per guidelines.
• Verify amount changed vs amount quoted on prior day shipment.
• Schedule freight carriers based off of daily demand.
• Review previous day sales and update information board.

Qualifications

An employee in this position should have the following education/certifications, work experience, and skill set:

Education/Certification:

• Associates/BA in Supply Chain, logistics or similar relevant field a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience.

Specialized Knowledge:

· Logistics operations and shipping procedures and document knowledge.

· Shipping and distribution software.

· Good leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.
