Pratt & Whitney Middletown PA facility has an immediate opening in Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

Essential Functions:

• Releases material to production in accordance with manufacturing requirements to support sales plan.
• Keep the dock area neat, clean and orderly.
• The person in this position will learn how to access and apply Pratt & Whitney’s policies, procedures and documents that affect product quality and the segregation of non-conforming parts from good parts.
• Validate non-delivery issues through inspection.
• Checks receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects.
• Adhere to International Trade Compliance rules and regulations.
• Prepares and pack orders for shipment. Assembles orders, checks against customer order and reports incomplete orders. Selects appropriate shipping containers and packing material. Verifies counts and certifications to Amercon and customer requirements.
• Receives and unpacks materials and supplies performing necessary checks against purchase order, specifications and requirements, physical inventory count and packing slips. Investigates any inaccuracies.
• Assures that inspection stamps are present on all products released for use and on certifications and packing slips, as required.
• Enters packing slip details into SAP or delivers packing slips to accounting.
• May be required to operate PIV (Forklift, Stacker and powered pallet jack).

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability and willingness to lift up to 25lbs repeatedly throughout shift.
• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.
