Our client is a leading manufacturer in the building materials market. We are searching for a second shift Manufacturing Supervisor for their manufacturing plant located in Streetsboro.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manufacturing Shift Supervisor reports to the Area Manager responsible for overseeing essential functions of a materials building plant:

• Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Learn the technical aspects and become knowledgeable of work processes and products.
• Maintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment through the establishment and support of Company policy and adherence to various government regulations.
• Communicate and provide reporting of day-to-day production activities.
• Develop, coach and engage associates to drive a cohesive and thriving business unit.
• Drive manufacturing, quality and on-time delivery through leadership and decision making.
• Assist in developing fair and accurate employee performance.
• Be visible and an ambassador to associates on the plant floor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bi-lingual in Spanish or Nepali
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Positive with excellent presentation
• Knowledge of Quality practices and instructions
• Strong manufacturing/operations background with emphasis on lean principles
• Problem solving using manufacturing applications such as SPC, Flow Charts, standardized work, KAIZEN, etc.
• Customer-focused in meeting commitments of quality and delivery
• Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain, Management, Engineering, or other Technical Field) and 4 years manufacturing experience
