Shift Leads utilize their passion, knowledge and experience to lead a team and provide unparalleled customer service to our guests.

Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Shift Lead is responsible for the success of the shift that they are supervising. Shift Leads are expected to lead by example and ensure great customer service by maintaining a balanced flow of operations and business.
Duties and Requirements:
Included but not limited to:

  • Handle any issues Budtenders may not feel equipped to handle (hard questions, difficult customers)
  • Restocking product on the floor as needed
  • Opening Procedures - Unlocking Store, Setting up Tills, Distributing Tasks
  • Assessing day’s schedule to ensure coverage at high business times
  • Ability to coach and train team members as needed
  • Cash handling: cash drops, get change for register tills as needed, count-down and reconcile tills, collect tips for consolidation by manager
  • Closing Procedures, TIll Reconciliation, Securing Store, Ensuring all Housekeeping is completed
  • Manage / Cover the breaks of all scheduled team members

Requirements

  • Must have excellent cannabis knowledge
  • Must pass background check (NO felony convictions of any kind per state laws).
  • Must be organized and efficient
  • Access to personal vehicle (stores open and close outside of bus hours)
  • 1+ years of leadership experience (Cannabis Leadership a plus)
  • 3+ years in retail, customer facing positions
  • Able to work 32-40 hours a week
  • Must be a strong leader who is comfortable with crucial conversations.
  • Open Availability - Shifts begin as early as 7am and as late as 1am
  • Must be 21 years of age or older


Salary

$23 - $28 per hour
