Service Technician – Refrigeration Jobs

Refrigeration Service Technicians diagnose and repair technical problems with milking refrigeration systems and perform general maintenance and service tasks on customer farms. No prior experience required. Training is provided. Ideal candidate has a background in agriculture.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions
Provide service/customer support during field visits or dispatches
Perform necessary general maintenance and service tasks
Collaborate with service/sales colleagues when needed
Tie “workflow” to your daily schedule
Produce timely and detailed service reports
Communicate with Service Manager if/when a follow up call is required
Engage in continued education when necessary
Keep accurate records and files
Remain reliable during your “on call” timeframes
Build positive rapport and relationships with our customer base
Observe all bio-secure measures
Keep abreast of the latest methods for producing/ selling high quality milk
Follow all company procedures and protocols
Maintain a professional image
Be a positive part of the F&T team
Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate Skills:

Basic electrical experience
Basic plumbing experience
Self-motivated with willingness to learn
Ability to meet safety standards
Valid Driver’s Licenses with ability to maintain throughout duration of employment
