Job Description

Job Title: Medical Device Customer Service and Logistics Manager

Overview:

Our client is an exciting medical device start-up that’s disrupting the remote patient monitoring space. Their end-to-end product suite will allow clinicians to securely identify patients, manage remote continuous monitoring, and transmit data to the hospital’s EMR. With FDA approval in sight, they will GTM this summer, expanding remote patient monitoring with cutting edge technology and their discrete design.

Compensation: $120,000 annual + benefits

Employment: Full-time

Location: Billerica, MA (appox. 55 miles north of Boston)

Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Medical Device Customer Service and Logistics Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the customer service team and logistics operations for our medical device products, as well as coordinating the integration of our devices with other systems and equipment in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device logistics and customer service management, as well as experience in leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the integration of our devices with other systems and equipment in healthcare facilities.
  • Manage the customer service team to ensure that customers receive exceptional service, including timely resolution of inquiries, complaints, and product issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage logistics partners and third-party service providers to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing team to ensure that customer service and logistics activities align with overall company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reporting related to customer service and logistics operations.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in customer service and logistics operations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that the customer service team has the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively support our medical device products.
  • Work with internal departments to coordinate logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and warehouse management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction, including the development of customer service policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with integrating medical devices with other systems and equipment in healthcare facilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device logistics and customer service management.
  • Understanding of logistics software and systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
