Position Description

Ryerson has an opportunity for a Service Center Operator B. As a Service Center Operator B you are responsible for ensuring the material meets a customer's expectations by checking the size, finish, and accuracy of the finished product.

Roles And Responsibilities

▪ Pull and pick customer material orders

▪ Stage material utilizing forklifts and/or sideloaders

▪ Safely operate a crane and/or forklift to move material for outbound shipping

▪ Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks for delivery and drop off of material

▪ You will keep your work area clean and ensure that all workplace hazards are reported immediately.

Position Requirements

• Unexpired Class C driver’s license
• GED required
• 1-3 years prior warehouse material handling experience
• Experience making customer deliveries and pick-ups Class C vehicle
• Must have clean driving record
