Job Description
Location: Laguna Niguel, CA


Employment Type: Part-Time


Salary: $13.00 - $13.00



The ideal server is guest-focused, can adapt to change easily, has the ability to solve problems and multi-task, and is proactive and approachable.


Major Responsibilities Include


  • Take guests' orders and accurately enter them in our POS system
  • Carrying hot and cold plates to guests
  • Lifting and carrying tray with 6-7 drinks
  • Processing payments, including making change for cash payments
  • Anticipate and fulfill guest requests
  • Performing cleaning duties, including stocking stations, side work assignment(s), sweeping and cleaning various places throughout the restaurant
  • Engage with guests, team members and managers to make a positive lasting impression
  • Serving alcohol to guests following safe alcohol service guidelines and local, state and federal laws
  • Participating in team pre-bussing and running food, offer to help other team members
  • Communicating openly with management regarding any work-related concerns
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests


Requirements


  • Have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and analyze information
  • Able to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
  • Must be outgoing, charismatic, proactive, approachable, guest-centric and positive
  • Ideally, a minimum of 21 years of age. Minimum of 18 required.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience in a partial or full service restaurant desired
  • Ability to solve problems, adapt to change quickly, easily and multi-task and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Able to work well under pressure and effectively problem solve
  • Continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching and twisting
  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift and carry 35lbs
