As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned technical projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to complete projects that involve new and/or enhanced technology, are highly complex and require tight coordination and integration with multiple organizations and suppliers. You’ll also work on long-term strategic projects and programs from original concept through final implementation, defining overall direction, scope and technical or analytical guidance.  

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Anticipates bottlenecks and risks, lead escalation management, manage dependencies and tradeoffs.
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Leads the definition of project scope and objectives.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge in the product development life cycle, including processes and tools that support agile methodologies.
• 5-8 years of Technical Program / Project Management experience.
• Proven technical background and experience leading delivery teams in a matrixed environment.
• Advanced experience in creating organization out of chaos with a detail oriented, mindset.
• An active listener that promotes open communication while coordinating projects across multiple departments. 
• Advanced experience in working with global and remote teams & partners, understanding multi-cultural nuances.
• Advanced knowledge of managing the balance of people, process, and tools to drive delivery of the program.
• An effective communicator that can explain advanced concepts.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Math or Engineering or Science
• Project and/or program management certifications (e.g., PMP)

Our Senior – Technology Project / Program employees earn between $105,000 to $210,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
