Senior Ui/Ux Designer

Job Summary:

Sniffies is looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of our growing suite of products. This role will be responsible for the design of new product features and expanding upon the design of existing features based on our product roadmaps. The ideal candidate must exhibit advanced knowledge of responsive web and native application design as part of our overall product progression. The candidate must also be able to incorporate marketing and branding requirements into their design solutions, and work within existing design intent and guidelines as required. Comfort with multi-tasking and working in a fast-moving environment with constantly shifting priorities is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our developers to ensure design intent is preserved and that processes within the web application function smoothly and as intended
• Craft world-class UI and UX solutions across multiple browsers and devices types
• Collaborate with our graphic designer to optimize graphic content and other assets for use within the product
• Design web content, features, and experiences to meet product roadmap requirements
• Produce design mockups for review, feedback, and approval from multiple stakeholders

Requirements and Skills:

• Experience with raster and vector image editing and web optimization using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong design thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with one of the above softwares to create finalized, pixel-perfect mockups that will be used by the engineering team to implement the design
• Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of web design best-practices, standards, and current trends and experience with the design of progressive web apps and native apps
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others
• Ability to receive feedback and critique from product and brand owners, and incorporate changes as part of an iterative design process
• Ability to clearly communicate design intent to product engineers, product managers, and marketing managers
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD or similar software to construct and collaborate on the design and development of concept mockups and wireframes
• (Required) 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design for business-to-consumer web-based applications
• (Required) Bachelor Degree or higher in a related field of study
