Remote / Redmond, WA


Bluehawk Consulting is seeking a UX Designer to support one of the world's largest software development companies.


Responsibilities


  • Writes functionality design specifications.
  • Understands customer needs and motivations and integrates them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality.
  • Generates design ideas; presents and sells designs to product group.
  • Designs user interfaces for web, software, and/or hardware products.
  • Design and implement prototypes, mockups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams.


Required Skills & Experience


  • Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required.
  • Fluency with standard design software tools (Figma, Illustrator, etc.) required.
  • Must be familiar with industry standards and trends.
  • 3-4 years of experience with web work that deals with data sets, like lists, or data visualizations, anything with purchase flow is helpful.
  • Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required.
  • Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality.
  • General knowledge of web technologies (i.e., HTML and CSS).
  • Strong interaction design and web technology skills may be required.
  • Experience working with rich client or web applications is a plus.
  • Agility, the ability to take feedback and respond with growth mindset - 3-4 years.
  • Experience in creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams is required.
  • Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
  • 3-4 years of experience using and working with Figma.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Salary Range for this position: $112,000 - $124,000
