Job Description
NVIDIA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for working with NVIDIA's memory suppliers to develop and implement outstanding memory quality programs for our graphic, datacenter, automotive and embedded products. As a part of SQE team, you will be the quality representative for memory, and you will also closely work with NVIDIA internal teams including hardware engineering engineer, product engineer, product quality engineer, memory technical marketing, and commodity manager to resolve quality problems.

What you'll be doing:
  • Prepare and present QBR(Quarterly Business Review) quality score and follow up with suppliers on improvement actions
  • Work closely with memory suppliers and internal teams to assure new memory product readiness and ensure performance meets the key quality and reliability metrics.
  • Coordinate memory component FA(Failure Analysis) activities including RA(Root-cause Analysis), CA(Corrective Action), CIP(Continuous improvement plan) to improve the quality of memory products.
  • Lead PCN(Product Change Notification). Provide risk assessments for proposed changes and represent supplier’s change in the CRB(Change Control Board) meetings
  • Work with engineering organizations to resolve memory failures.
  • Lead quality audits at supplier site as needed to ensure supplier quality practice
  • Responsible for leading end-to-end memory quality
What we need to see:
  • MS/BS in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of memory wafer fab process, assembly process, testing, and firmware.
  • Supplier quality management experience and a deep understanding of problem-solving tools including 8D principle and statistical process control principles
  • Dedicated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Experience with semiconductor factory audits and data analysis using Excel, Mintab, or JMP
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • 7+ years of significant experience in memory quality
  • Knowledge of DRAM, eMMC, SSD operation and understanding key AC/DC parameters in datasheet
  • Familiar with physical FA technique such as C-SAM, SEM, TEM, FTIR, ASE, LVx, Hot Spot Analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of memory quality and reliability concept including qualification report and JEDEC reliability standard
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Experience on memory quality improvement for data center including DDR5 DiMMs, HBMs, and SSDs.
  • Direct working experience with major memory suppliers

The base salary range is $132,000 - $253,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
