Reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer, the Senior Strategy Analyst role will be a part of our strategy team that leads strategy development, planning, innovation efforts across the vast Availity portfolio. This role will lead project teams to support strategic analysis and strategy formulation and development on behalf of both the enterprise and individual business units and functional groups. The Senior Strategy Analyst will have exposure to the Executive Leadership Team and other senior leaders across the organization through a variety of projects. It will also allow you to define and chart your own path into the business and be part of the next generation of leaders at Availity.

To be qualified for this position you:
  • Awareness and ongoing monitoring of developments in healthcare tech/services innovation ecosystem
  • Comfort with both quantitative and qualitative information
  • Well-established strategy toolkit (research, quantitative analysis, qualitative synthesis, written/oral communication)
  • Strong familiarity with healthcare industry trends
  • Development and cultivation of senior-level relationships
  • Executive-level presence and communication style
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience required or role-relevant equivalencies in the forms of advanced business analysis, cross-functional project management or applying logic frameworks to solve complex problems
  • Previous experience in management and professional development of team members
  • Previous experience in business strategy development through management consulting, or an in-house strategy team with experience building strategic perspectives and generating executive presentations. Ability to own end-to-end storyline for clear and concise communication of research findings and strategy recommendations

  • Consulting experience from a firm that specializes in healthcare, Big 4 is preferred
  • Healthcare Technology experience
You will be:
  • Working collaboratively and cross-functionally with executive leadership across the enterprise to support strategy efforts
  • Developing workplans and convening with cross-functional teams to deliver strategy projects
  • Serving as project leader representing strategy to lead internal engagements
  • Managing annual planning activities, including translation of organizational goals and objectives into initiatives, timelines, and plans
  • Supporting the overall corporate strategy and innovation planning with focus on long term growth for the enterprise
  • Supporting solution design and implementation of recommendations to ensure initiatives can deliver on the expected outcomes
  • Developing and communicating of key messages and conclusions to project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Facilitating workshops with subject matter experts, with a change management focus, to rapidly develop recommendations to present to leaders
  • Researching and developing perspectives on the competitive landscape
  • Creating and overseeing analyses to generate business insights, trends impacting Availity. This can include preparing market overviews, benchmarking competitors, assessing industry developments, evaluating potential new business cases within the company, and exploring partnerships / acquisition targets
  • Proactively address operational issues and collaborate with team members to solve problems quickly and thoughtfully
