As the Senior Staff Strategy and Operations Manager reporting to the VP, Market Operations, this individual will be responsible for driving clarity and execution across the organization on business priorities, initiatives, and programs. They will measure and monitor results and establish a process for data-driven decisions. They will need to quickly establish credibility with a large, cross-functional team and influence decisions with the Market Operations Leadership Team.

The ideal candidate will be a thorough, get-things-done professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and trust with all levels of the organization. They will have demonstrated the ability to coordinate with cross-functional leads on time/critically important operational issues spanning technical, Infrastructure, Legal, Communications, Finance, People, and other interdependent teams. This person will be highly organized, productive, poised, and able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios. This person needs to be comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking ownership over shaping the role and their time.


What you'll be doing:

  • Drive organizational clarity and execution on business priorities, initiatives, and performance.
  • Prepare content for meetings with partners, internally and externally (e.g., identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, etc.)
  • Partner with relevant cross-functional teams (Engineering, TPM, People, Analytics, etc.) reporting on the health of the business, performance against goals, and the status of key initiatives at the appropriate cadence: weekly, monthly, quarterly.
  • Aggregate Metrics and Reporting across Central Operations and use the data to drive proactive decisions to ensure the team remains on track.
  • Deputize for the VP of Market Operations and drive decisions in collaboration with the leader to ensure the team can deliver on challenging targets.
  • Be a key collaborator and/or representative in planning, strategy, and cross-functional meetings and events.
  • Own and drive Management Operating System (MOS). Collaborate across the organization to define and measure OKRs, and improve, refine and communicate as needed.
  • Partner with Executive Assistant on salient items for key meetings (e.g., line up important agenda items, follow-up on action items/next steps, etc.)
  • Interface and consult regularly with internal cross-functional teams
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and credibility across the organization; influence decision-making with leadership.
  • Facilitate budgeting, perform resource planning, and standardize actionable reports for the VP Market Operations
  • Partner with the leadership team to drive a framework for decision-making across the organization, ensuring timely discussions with relevant audiences on critical topics.
  • Create a process and cadence of communication to ensure all business teams have access to relevant information.
  • Provide timely and relevant strategic recommendations to Market Operations and broader Commercial Operations org
  • Work independently on developing strategic projects to drive step changes in business performance - from outsourcing activity/process to driving step changes in productivity for both insourced and outsourced teams.
  • Build key documents and presentations as needed

What you must have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and exposure to large-scale systems.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience capturing concepts and communicating them back to team members
  • Experience with building presentations in Slides and/or PowerPoint and compiling briefing materials
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is preferred
  • Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • 8+ years of business strategy, management consulting, project management, operations or communications experience; Tech industry and program/project management experience
  • Extremely strong communication skills and experience working with management teams (both technical and non-technical)
  • Experience with shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control, and strong track record of building cross-functional relationships
  • Experience working with people of all levels, including executive and C-suite level
  • Ability to capture complex concepts quickly and communicate them succinctly to key stakeholders

The salary range for this position is $163,200 - 240,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
