Senior Scientist Jobs

Qualis Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to support test documentation and data collection services for the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), UT. This is a full-time position.

Essential Functions

• Works with the Government POC and WDTC staff to identify the testing methods and procedures that will satisfy the customer’s needs
• Provide technical documentation identifying procedures, test design, and validation of new test fixtures
• Must be capable of planning, organizing, and executing methodology development projects
• Responsible for the development of technically sound, test related documentation
• Works closely with the Government POC and customers to understand the customer’s testing requirements and desires
• Work with Government technical POC to ensure all test-related documents have been reviewed by the appropriate technical staff for data analysis, test data accuracy, and technical accuracy of test conclusions
• Responsible for writing portions of the test plan dealing with testing procedures and quality control. May be responsible for the overall management of all specific test- related documentation and verifying that all documents are properly controlled and stored

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in team management and interpersonal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to be innovative and adapt to changing program requirements
• Chemical or biological laboratory experience is also desirable
• Demonstrated experience in physical sciences, chemical sciences, biological sciences, or engineering, with experience in design and analysis of field tests, physical laboratory tests, and/or chemical warfare/chemical and biological (CB) development
• Strong problem-solving skills are also desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary field or related field and a minimum 3-5 years related experience
• Demonstrated skill in providing high-level briefings

Clearance

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
